Safe Routes to School

- A bike rodeo, which is basically a bike skills/obstacle course that teaches children how to ride safely
- Bicycles to borrow if a child doesn’t have one and wants to participate in the bike rodeo
- A learn to ride station for anyone who does not know how to ride a bike
- Helmet fittings and helmet giveaways
- 20 bicycles (for 10 – 14 year olds) to give away with locks
- A bike maintenance station – families can bring their bikes to have them tuned up
- Resource tables
- Dinner
